Hi, We often have to delete entire groups of links between modules. It is very easy to do by going into the Link module, finding the linkset and deleting the linkset. Viola, all the links are deleted.
One problem is that the dropdown view is very limited and makes it difficult to find the correct linkset. So I am creating a utility that allows the user to specify a string to search (in either the source or target) and then display only the linksets that contain the specified string. These are displayed in a listView with a very wide display. The user can than select which ones they would like to delete. All well and good so far.
However, when I attempted to delete (the object that matches) from the Link module, It seems to have deleted the linkset, but the links are still present. If I open the link module, I no long can find the linkset I deleted. But if I look at the objects that have these links (using the wizard) and display the Link Module Name these objects seem to indicate that they still exist in the Link Module.
I used softDelete(objectInLinkModule). Is that the cause of the problem, or is it something else. Now even in the Link module, I can't find the soft deleted linkset to attempt to undelete or purge it.

Re: Deleting Linksets/links I can confirm the behaviour you described. I had to purge the link module to get rid of the linkset. The correct way to do it is: delete linkset(objectInLinkModule)
